Baptisms – Sunday, August 13, 2023
UPDATE: Baptisms occurred on Sunday afternoon, August 13, 2023, in Taylor Creek on Mulberry Salem Road about 1/2 mile from the church building. 68 people traveled from 20 states and were baptized by Pastor Bob Joyce.

When are the baptisms for 2023?
Pastor Bob Joyce has announced that Sunday, August 13, 2023, will be the annual designated Sunday for baptisms. Baptisms will take place after the sermon. Pastor Bob Joyce baptizes by immersion in water based upon profession of faith in Jesus Christ and in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
What should be planned for a baptism?
It is recommended that you bring a dry set of clothes, a towel, and that you have a dark shirt and dark shorts, longer pants, or jeans for the time in the water. Some type of footwear for the water would be good in case of rocks or anything sharp if weather permits the baptisms to be in a nearby creek.
Is there a sign-up sheet?
There will likely be a sign-up sheet at the church building on Sunday, August 13. There is not an early sign-up list or any kind of registration required.
